I have worked in the tile industry for over 35 years and have seen many changes but one thing which doesn’t change is my belief that tiles are the perfect finish to transform the surfaces in your home to stunning effect. As the owner and working director of the business, I am fortunate to have a fantastic team of people who play a huge part in the company’s success, helping it evolve and keep up with the latest trends in the industry. My wife Lynda and I have been married for over 30 years, we have two children and two dogs and apart from spending time with them I enjoy cycling, hitting the free weights at the gym, reading non-fiction, travel, music and socialising with friends.

I have been working for the company since 2007 in the role of Customer Support, along with my colleague Simon my primary role is to liaise with our account customers to process orders for delivery and deal with their enquiries which can be wide and varied. Outside of work I have a passion for the Yorkshire Dales: walking, rock climbing, and anything that involves water.

I have been with the company for nearly 20 years, having taken a year out in the middle for travelling. In my time I have seen the company move premises twice to expand the business. I started out as a junior warehouseman and then became warehouse supervisor. I then took the role as stock controller and then finally warehouse and distribution manager. Our aim is to deliver high standards of tiles and adhesives as efficiently and well presented as possible on time. Outside of work I enjoy playing football, drinking and travelling.

We have two full time drivers working for the company they are Richard and Glenn; these two drivers have a wealth of experience and will help as much as they can to give you the best delivery experience possible. They really care about the impression that they give to the customer and pride themselves on getting the job done to the high standards the company expects of them whilst being polite and courteous.

I’ve joined the company in 2019 and my journey has been great! Having met a wonderful team, I have enjoyed working here ever since. The company has some great core values that I wasn’t able to find elsewhere. I will proudly represent Ceramic Tiles and work very hard to promote these values. When I do have some spare time, I love spending time with my family and going to the gym. Exploring the world is also something that takes my breath away.

I have been working for the company since 2006 & have recently moved over to our accounts department as Accounts Assistant, prior to this I was in our Procurement department. I am looking forward to my new role & learning other aspects of the business. I am very family orientated & when I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my children & partner.

I have been with the company for a few years now and I am the one responsible for bringing to life the website you are currently browsing; Starting with little knowledge of the tile industry, yet great knowledge in IT and a passion for photography. I work with my knowledgeable colleagues, collating product information and photographing stock where required to bring about the website the company has always wanted. When not working, I love PC gaming with my friends and heading out to the local zoo to get some great photographs.
